Welcome everyone to
our 12th annual Birregurra Weekend Festival, an event synonymous
with quality farm produce, agricultural displays, craft and live
local music.
The festival begins with the opening of the art show in the Main
Street Hall on Friday night, October 7, from 7.30pm.
The Art Show – lauded as one of Victoria’s most successful –
consistently attracts both professional and amateur artists from
across the State.
In the Main Street precinct we have a vast array of market
stalls selling a range of quality crafted goods alongside our
main stage with some of Victoria’s best live musical acts.
This year, Birregurra is the only regional area to host a heat

In the children’s play area in the park this year we see a
return of the camel rides, the always popular petting zoo, Rock
Wall, carnival rides and great kids’ entertainment. Across the
street will see the highly entertaining dog jump being contested
over the course of the weekend.

And, in 2011 by popular demand we see the Landpower Colac
agricultural precinct returning featuringsnake handling
demonstrations, the very competitive woodchop competition,
machinery displays and the latest in farming and rural
technology.I would like to thank our wonderful festival
committee, who this year has worked extremely hard to ensure the
festival continues to grow and provide fantastic entertainment,
and quality attractions for the whole family.
So welcome to our 12th annual festival weekend in the
picturesque Otway hinterland, with so much on offer this year,
we know the whole family will enjoy one of Victoria’s most
popular weekend events
